Gold for Röhm in EcoVadis rating

The gold EcoVadis rating places Röhm among the seven percent of the best-rated 100,000 companies in 2022, putting Röhm above the industry average in all categories. " In particular, we were able to significantly improve on the previous year's rating in the ethics and sustainable procurement categories, although we also made further gains in the other categories. We take the result as an incentive to improve even further," says Hans-Peter Hauck, Chief Operation Officer at Röhm. "Our development in the carbon management rating is also particularly positive. While we were certified as 'Beginner' status in 2021, we received 'Advanced' status in 2022," says Steffen Krill, Head of Sustainability at Röhm.

The prerequisite for the Eco-Vadis rating was a comprehensive assessment in which questions about the impact of business and procurement activities on the environment, labor and human rights, and ethical dimensions had to be answered and these had to be proven with appropriate documents. ​​​​​​​The result of the rating is published on the EcoVadis website and can be accessed by customers.
