PLEXIGLAS® grades with diffusing effects

PLEXIGLAS® Softlight

The properties of the diffusers in the PLEXIGLAS® Softlight series offer numerous design options for lighting applications. These range from backlit covers to ambient light by means of finely graded forward and/or backward scattering, light transmission for ambient effects and frosted surfaces in the extrusion (for selected molding compounds).

PLEXIGLAS® Edgelight

Components made of PLEXIGLAS® Edgelight are crystal clear and transparent when the light is not switched on. These molding compounds are optimized for edge lighting, even over longer distances. No additional scattering foils or microstructures need to be applied to the surface of the components for uniform light extraction over the entire surface.
