PLEXIGLAS® Edgelight

Components made of PLEXIGLAS® Edgelight are crystal clear and transparent when the light is not switched on. These molding compounds are optimized for edge lighting, even over longer distances. No additional scattering foils or microstructures need to be applied to the surface of the components for uniform light extraction over the entire surface.

Possible applications are ambient lighting, light guides without decoupling structure, area lighting and dual-use components (mix of backlighting and edge coupling).
